During the first week of October it became clear that Esteban “Black” Lobos from ours League of Legends team loaned to the Spanish esports organization Movistar Riders. There he will be part of their academy team and compete in a number of Spanish national leagues and tournaments.

Cross turns before the NLC

Then our participation in NLC in the fall it seemed that the Movistar Riders Academy's proposal for a loan from Lobos fit very well.

But very recently, it all took a new turn, where a new opportunity to participate in the autumn NLC season opened up. New players and new contracts are under negotiation.

Despite this turn of events, Lobos chose to complete the loan agreement, which we at Carlstad Kings see as a wise decision as it will develop him as a player on many levels. He returns with important experience, which he can share with the rest of the League of Legends squad.

Lobos will be back for the 2023 summer split.

The playing squad during the NLC

The main squad will consist of three Swedish players, including from before Joel “CringePojkeN” Johansson, as well as two players from North Macedonia. The presentation of the players will come shortly.

Reserve player next season is Jonatan "Frojze" Schoultz Carlander, Anders "LostInYourEyes" Nilsson and Karl "TrollKarl" Lundström.
